Kris Fitzgerald is a military veteran who proudly served our country. From her experience, she knows the importance of proper health care, robust resources and unfailing support for veterans and their families. She understands the need for veterans’ advocates, programs for homeless veterans, greater access to mental healthcare, and suicide prevention programs.

Across our nation, approximately 22 veterans die by suicide each day. We can do better. We can restore hope. Florida is home to more Veterans than the entire nation of Canada - nearly 1.5 million - and 93,000 live in the Tampa Bay area. It is imperative that veterans and their families have a representative in government advocating for them.
